Q. When are the Village Council meetings held and can anyone attend?

A. The meetings are held on the first Monday of every month at 7:30 p.m.

Council meets at Village Hall, 115 W. Main Street, Owensville, Ohio. All are welcome to attend.


Q. Does the Village supply brush pick-up?

A. Yes. Curb-side brush pick-up is the first and third Mondays of every month. Note specifications for brush: must be bundled, less than 25 lbs. and no longer than 6-8 feet long.


Q. Who do I contact if I have a question regarding my tax bill?

Q. Who do I contact if I want to rent the Gauche Park Shelter and is there a fee to rent the shelter?

A. Charlotte Farmer, 732-1171 or 
charlotte.farmer @villageofowensville.org. There is a $50.00 fee to rent the shelter for one day. You will also need to fill out a Shelter Agreement with your fee. This form is located under Village Forms on our website or you can pick up a form at Village Hall.


Q. Where do I pay my traffic ticket?

A. Village Hall, 115 W. Main Street, Owensville, Ohio

Hours, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.


Q. When is Court held if I have to appear for my traffic or other violation?

A. On the main page of our website, there is a calendar of when Court will be held. Court always begins at 1:00 p.m.


Q. Who do I talk to if I have a zoning question or need a permit?

A. Ruthann McEvoy, Zoning Administrator, 513-383-1622.


Q. Do I need a permit to have a band or loud music in the Village?

A. Yes. The form (Live and Amplified Music Permit) is on our website under Village Forms or you can pick up a form at Village Hall. The fee is $25.00.


Q. How do I put information about my community event on the Village’s website?

A. Call the Village of Owensville 732-5350, Ext. 24 (for Kim Beuke), or forward the information regarding your event to
kim.bueke@villageofowensville.org.


Q. If I have a non-emergency police matter, how do I contact the Police Department?

A. You may call the police department at 732-1171 and ask to speak to an officer on station or leave a voice mail message and your call will be promptly returned.


Q. Does the Mayor perform wedding ceremonies?

A. Yes. The Mayor is legally qualified to perform weddings. You can call the Village Hall at 732-5350 and contact the Mayor at
rick.mcevoy@villageofowensville.org.


Q. Who do I call to obtain a public record?

A. The Village Clerk, Marlene Bauer is the custodian of public records for the Village of Owensville. You can contact her at 732-5350.


Q. I am having a yard sale, do I need a permit?

A. Yes. A yard sale permit may be obtained at Village Hall. Call 732-5350.

The fee is $5.00 per day. (Note: this fee is waived during the Village WideYard Sale -held twice per year).
